Plantar fibromatosis is when a fibrous nodule develops in the plantar fascia – the connective tissue running from the heel to the toe. This causes a lump or lumps to appear on the sole of the foot. Pressure from shoes or standing may make this painful. We can create orthotics to reduce the pressure in the area of the lump.
