Orthotics can prevent future foot problems
Although some foot and gait abnormalities disappear as children grow, orthotic devices can be effective in the treatment of other child foot deformities. Most podiatrists recommend that children with foot deformities begin to use orthotics as soon as possible after they start walking, to stabilise the foot. Orthotics help to straighten the feet in general and improve walking.
We make custom orthotics for children from the age of 4 years.
Orthotics can be worn in standard children’s shoes
Our children’s orthotics can be placed directly into both standard shoes and sports shoes.
